Porsha was born on June 22, 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia. She studied business information technology at the American InterContinental University. She married a professional football player Kordell Stewart in 2011. The whole wedding was broadcast as a part of reality show Platinum Weddings. However, they divorced two years later.
She divorced former NFL quarterback Kordell Stewart in 2013. In October 2018, she became engaged to Dennis McKinley after less than a year of dating, but the two separated in June 2019. She and McKinley have a daughter named Pilar.
