Short Bio
Most people first discovered the beautiful Olivia Newton-John when she co-starred with John Travolta in the 1978 film based on the 1971 musical, Grease. The film was an instant hit, has remained a classic and meant that Olivia Newton-John remained a household name. That’s not the only reason though. The Aussie from Great Britain has also managed to stay looking eternally youthful. Now 65, many want to know if Olivia Newton-John had plastic surgery.
A Second Look at Her Early Days
If we go back to 1978, it becomes immediately clear that, plastic surgery or not, Newton-John was always working with an unfair advantage. I mean; she was cast opposite John Travolta because she was born gorgeous. There’s only so much plastic surgery can do, and it can’t give you the genetics she’s clearly had since she was 20.
It’s also clear that she has always taken care of herself. As a singer, looking good in front of a crowd was even more important than appearing beautiful in front of the camera where she could get all kinds of help from a professional makeup crew.
The Australian beauty was sadly diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. While she has, fortunately, survived, it’s possible that this added to her dedication to healthy living, which would have only fortified her good looks longer. Lastly, she’s long been an advocate for all kinds of environmental causes. For many people, this means taking many natural steps in terms of one’s diet—something else that may have helped Newton-John stay young.
Possible Work
All right, but what you really came here to find out is if Olivia Newton-John had plastic surgery or if God really just likes her that much work. When you take a look at before and after pictures of her face, it’s tough to deny she must have had some work done. Otherwise, she really is drinking from the fountain of youth on a regular basis (and needs to share!).
Her flawless face doesn’t feature a single wrinkle, which would be tough to pull off in her mid-sixties. This has led many people to believe she must have had dermal injections at some point. Botox would be an easy one to imagine, but she may have also elected for Juvederm or Restylane.
She also doesn’t have the excess skin that hangs over the eyelids of most females of her age. Again, this would be nearly impossible at this point. The most likely reason here would be that she had a facelift. Of course, this could just be wishful thinking from those of us who don’t have a jaw and neckline that hugs their face perfectly.
It’s worth noting that Olivia Newton-John has always denied rumors about her having had any work done at all. According to the singer and actress, her amazing looks are the result of amazing genetics. If that’s the case, you can’t blame her for being proud of what nature has been able to pull off.
